Between nicotine and alcohol

Okay, here it is

heineken

Or this? Better, huh? LOL

Marlboro Kids

You know that both of those things aren’t good, uh? I just don’t like the way how the non-smokers do to the smokers, banning cigarette’s advertisements everywhere. But to my confusion, they don’t ban alcoholic drinks advertisements as: Heineken, Amstel Beer, Budweiser, or just another alcoholic drinks. Which one is better? Drinking alcohol or smoking? I know, none is good but can you take a conclusion about what someone will do after smoking and after drinking alcohol? Who will be more dangerous? The drinkard one or the smoker? Huh? What will someone do after smoking? s/he will just do the things which s/he does as usual, her/his daily activities! But after drinking? Someone can be more sensitive, abusive, and s/he mostly doesn’t know what s/he does because s/he’s drunk. On the next day we will get pain in our stomaches and will try to remember what we have done last night. Get regret? Sure if it’s bad happening!

I admit I am a smoker, but I just don’t like to start drinking because I am still trying to quit smoking and so I don’t find a need to drink. I as a GF won’t be worried if my BF goes somewhere with a cigarette in his pocket, because then he just smokes, he won’t become crazy after smoking. But still, people seem to accept drinkard more than a smoker, while I become scared if I see a drunk man at a station, walking through the station hall and looking at me (I won’t be so scared if he’s just smoking).

  1. Yeah of course you are right…both things are damgerous but aren’t more people dying because of cancer caused by smoking? Who is harming more the other is also an interesting questions becuase some drinkards get aggressive if they are drunken. But smokers are still all around as well…

  7. What I find unfair is the ban on pot/weed/grass/whatever you want to call it. Not that I’m a stoner, but I think it’s ridiculous to outlaw a damn plant that makes people feel good.

    I’m looking forward to a trip to Amsterdam {joking ;-)}

Thanks for the comment! The blog is not truly a food blog, just somewhere along the way people decided to consider it that. After awhile, too many food posts and I gotta go on a virtual diet.

And sure, bookmark if you like… I guess I’m sticking around for awhile :-D

  8. I am against both of them. Smoking because it is unhealthy for the smoker and the person sitting next to him, and Drinking because its after-effects are highly dangerous and immoral.

  9. Perhaps for some people, drinking is easier to avoid, so they don’t ban in certain way. but cigars reach out as many people as its could get, though the effects walks in different pattern. Those things just a waste my friend, bring no good to us :) just a thought..thx for visiting my place :) I don’t believe in any offerings (sesaji) or similar either, but some people still live in that way here.

  11. Kat: Indeed, people are dying because of cancer, but the effect after someone’s drinking is more worse than the effect after someone smokes cigs.

Crude: don’t drink too much :P

Shi: of course it’s better to avoid both. For both, occasionally is allowed for me, but not regularly especially drinking. I don’t like someone who drinks regularly :(

Ahmed: thanks for stopping by :)

Shaima: more sad if I remember how much my uncle drinks, he drinks beer like he’s drinking water :’(

Rowena: heheheh weed, we don’t ban it here. They consider the users as a patient, not as people whom we have to avoid and kill coz then it’s like a discrimination. But I heard about the new rules is that tourists aren’t allowed to buy, but I hope it’s not true because tourists come here mostly to get it whether it’s for fun or not.

Raheel: of course both aren’t good anyway, but when there’s no other choice I keep thinking about the cigs advertisement banning while people got accident because of alcoholic drinks :s

Dewi: non smokers are lucky coz the smokers are trying to quit, damn I feel like being in a jail of nicotine :( and about the sesaji, what will happen if someone forgets to offer it in the morning? :-/

TDH: I do drink alcohol but occasionally :D and … I am a lady, not yet a woman oyyyyyyyyyyyyy! *kicks* :P
